Privacy & information handling
Privacy at KEVKAH
Share what helps us tutor. KEVKAH collects only information reasonably needed for tutoring and normal business operations.
Information We Collect
Depending on the service, this may include student and responsible-payer contact details, guardian information for minors, course and scheduling information, learning preferences, course materials, onboarding acknowledgments, and tutoring or business records.
KEVKAH does not request school passwords. Please do not send Social Security numbers, payment-card credentials, or unrelated sensitive information.
How We Use Information
Information helps KEVKAH review course fit, communicate, schedule sessions, provide individualized tutoring, understand coursework, document progress, administer onboarding and payment, and maintain appropriate business records.
Educational observations support instruction. They are not treated as medical or psychological diagnoses.
Course Materials and Tutoring Records
Send relevant course materials through approved KEVKAH channels, including materials@kevkahlearning.com. Share the material needed for the current tutoring question and omit unrelated personal information where practical.
Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint are KEVKAH’s authoritative internal record systems. Tutoring records may include session notes, instructional observations, and progress information used to support instruction and service administration.
Payment Information
Square is KEVKAH’s payment system of record. Use secure Square methods for payment-card entry or updates.
KEVKAH does not store card numbers, expiration data, CVV, or other payment credentials in Microsoft Forms, Word, OneDrive, SharePoint, spreadsheets, Teams, email, or ChatGPT.
Do not send card credentials with course materials or through general communication channels. KEVKAH does not itself store raw payment-card credentials.
Minors and Guardian Involvement
A parent or legal guardian controls major service and payment decisions for a minor unless another lawful arrangement has been approved.
Direct communication with minors may occur with guardian consent. It must remain professional, transparent, and tutoring-related.
Third-Party Services
KEVKAH uses established services to deliver tutoring and administer the business. These services may process information as part of their roles:
- Microsoft 365: communication, onboarding, and internal records, including OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Microsoft Teams: online tutoring meetings and related communication.
- Microsoft Bookings: scheduling and appointment information.
- Squarespace: KEVKAH’s website.
- Square: payment processing and payment-card information.
These providers have their own information-handling terms and privacy notices.
Data Handling and Retention
Information handling is guided by what is reasonably needed for tutoring and business administration. Records are retained only as reasonably necessary for educational, operational, accounting, legal, and recordkeeping purposes.
Use approved channels and limit what you send to relevant information. No online system can offer absolute security. Contact KEVKAH if you have an information-handling concern or a question about a record.
